Hello!

I’m Ian

A freelance writer and author based in England. I write in all genres but mainly non-fiction. After finishing my Ph.D. in 2022, I have since written two books on grief and which are now in published.

The first book called Grief and Other Minds is a non-fiction narrative and it draws on the aftermath following the death of my oldest son, Dom.

The second book is an autoethnographic extended essay on the benefits of creative and self-expressive writing through grief.

In the meantime, check out some lighter but life-changing reading in the form of The Awesome Power of Questions.
