I’m Ian

A freelance writer and author based in England. I write in all genres but I’m focused on non-fiction at the moment. While researching for my Ph.D. I have written two books on grief and trying to deal with grief which are now in the publishing pipeline.

The first book called Grief and Other Minds is a non-fiction narrative and it draws on the aftermath following the death of my oldest son, Dom.

The second book is an autoethnographic extended essay on the benefits of creative and self-expressive writing through grief.

In the meantime, check out some lighter but life-changing reading in the form of The Awesome Power of Questions.

Grief and Other Minds

Grief and Other Minds
